AKIYATO Otaru Dream Irifune HOME
Otaru Nostalgia Stay.
Located in a quiet residential neighborhood in the port town of Irifune, this is a fully private rental house limited to one group per day.
The architecture preserves the charm of the Showa era, layered with the refined aesthetics of Nordic mid-century design.
Somehow nostalgic, yet comfortably aligned with modern sensibilities —
a stay where photographs, experiences, and memories quietly accumulate over time.
Rather than experiencing Otaru only as a tourist destination,
this home is a base for discovering “Otaru as if you were living here.”
Bring back the lingering impressions of your city walk to the house,
and end your day wrapped in quietness and soft light.
Enjoy a retro journey that will remain in your memory.
In a space where Showa retro and mid-century design intersect,
enjoy moments that make you forget the passage of time.
The Irifune area is a calm residential district where daily port-town life still breathes, slightly removed from the busy tourist zones.
With convenient access to Otaru Canal and the city center, you can move freely between sightseeing and everyday life.
